Minimum Aberation Two-level Fractional Factorial Split-Plot Designs

Minimum Aberation Two-level Fractional Factorial Split-Plot Designs, Bingham, D. and Sitter, R., Technometrics 41, pp 62-70 & Design Issues in Fractional Factorial Split-Plot Experiments, Bingham, D. and Sitter, Journal of Quality Technology, Vol 33 No. 1 January 2001

Comments:

These two articles provide tables of minimum aberration two-level fractional factorial split plot designs for 8, 16, and 32 run designs. These are the most complete tables of designs for these fractional factorial split plot designs available. A practical issue not covered by the use of these tables is that the industrial experimenter is frequently not restricted by total runs, but by the number of whole-plot runs. If this is not the case these can be very useful tables, particularly when The Design and Analysis of 2 k-p X 2 q-r Split Plot Experiments is read and understood prior to their usage.
