Understanding Statistical Process Control; 2nd Edition

Donald J Wheeler and David S Chambers Understanding Statistical Process Control; 2nd Edition SPC Press

Comments:

This book is a great reference for statistical process control (SPC). This book does not attempt overwhelm you with all the theory or cover every chart. The bulk of the material presents Xbar / R charts and Individual/ Moving range. A few short chapters cover attribute control charts. The book can also introduce SPC. The material is well written with lots of examples. Wheeler and Chambers are consultants and have obviously drawn on their experience to: (1) select the material to include and omit, (2) select practical examples, and (3) offer advice. review by Cooper
